Why do some people love feet?

I got foot catcalled sitting in my car the other day. It was a shock. And it was strange. But then I got curious – what is it about feet that has some people falling head over heels? What are the cultural, symbolic, social, biological and historical elements at play? Here are some footnotes I pulled together into this 20 page comic.
